Our curriculum aims to inspire emerging entrepreneurs around the world, while simultaneously offering practical business skills to enable them to take charge of their financial futures. This training will equip you and your team to use Alternativ's proven entrepreneurship curriculum in the local community.


IMPORTANT:

In order to maintain quality control on the program, you must complete the Train-the-Trainers course in order to purchase our curriculum. This licensing cost is separate from the training fee.

Alternativ and its staff and Master Trainers have overseen and encouraged the implementation of the Business Essentials Curriculum in 17 countries and counting. They've shared their work and model of economic empowerment across the international development sphere at events like the "United Nations Commission on the Status of Women" and more.

Lauren is the executive director of Alternativ Global Entrepreneurs and a professor at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. She holds a MA in Global Finance, Trade, and Economic Integration from the prestigious Josef Korbel School of International Studies with concentrations in International Development and Nonprofit Management, and a BS in Economics from Texas A&M University. She has consulted for numerous NGO’s around the world, streamlining project management systems and creating monitoring and evaluation strategies.

Lauren is joined by special guests with 50 plus years of experience in international development, NGO's, small business development, and implementing empowerment programs to promote long-term solutions and build self-sustaining communities.

When does the course start and finish?
As soon as you enroll! This "Single-Use" variation of the "Building Entrepreneurial Systems Training" is designed to be just that, enroll and start learning about how to implement Alternativ's business empowerment program right away. There's a lot of content, so we'll be happy to provide you access over the next 30 days. Upon completing training, or when approaching the 30 day deadline, you'll receive an email notifying you that your access will soon discontinue. This will provide you with about a week longer to do your final review of the material. If you're looking to be able to access this TTT content at any time and as much as choose, the "Multiple-Use" training course variation is the best choice for you!
How long do I have access to the course?
As we mentioned above, our Mutliple Use training variation provides lifetime access to TTT content (and to other members of your organization as well)! When you enroll in this Single Use option, we'll give you a couple of weeks to complete the contents and we'll send you an email a week before your access is to be discontinued. At that point, if you want to reaccess the training, we'll happily provide you with a coupon discounting the price of this enrollment to the Multiple Use variation of training!
How long is the course?
This course should take you approximately 6 hours from start to finish. The video lectures range from 15 minutes long to around 40 minutes. You are free to do complete the course at your own pace within 30 days.
